Neste, Porvoo 6.12.2021 n. klo 22:15 prosessialueella syttyi tulipalo. Palo saatiin pian hallintaan, eikä se aiheuttanut henkilö- tai ympäristövahinkoja. Palo ei aiheuttanut vaaraa tehdasalueen ulkopuolelle, mutta näkyi runsaana savuna. (Jalostamon muiden yksiköiden toiminnan arvioidaan normalisoituvan vuorokauden kuluessa. Palo ei vaikuta jalostamon tuotetoimituksiin). Tapahtuman tutkinta on aloitettu yhdessä viranomaisten kanssa.

Fire at the Porvoo refinery

Neste, Porvoo 6.12.2021 at about time 22:15 A fire broke out at Neste’s Porvoo refinery. The fire was quickly taken under control and did not cause injuries or harm to the environment. The fire did not cause danger outside the processa area, but a lot of smoke could be seen. (Operations at the refinery’s other units are expected to return to normal within 24 hours. The fire will not affect product deliveries.)

An investigation of the incident has been started with the authorities.
